Terms of Trade

All documents forwarded to Southern Cross Collection, Auction Agencies without prior arrangements will be served by Southern Cross Collection, Auction Agencies at appropriate fees for the districts of service address without further notice.  Documents forwarded to Southern Cross Collection, Auction Agencies for service in districts that are not attended or cannot be attended by a set date will be forwarded on to other Agents/Police or other Companies for service at their rate of fees plus costs of cheques, postage and out of pocket expenses.  Field Calls will be charged at fees (quoted) or will be at an hourly rate of fees plus traveling  - accommodation costs and out of pocket expenses.

Investigation inquiries will be charged at an hourly rate of fees plus traveling - accommodation costs and out of pocket expenses or (quoted fees upon request). Skip tracing fees will be charged at an hourly rate of fees plus out of pocket expenses.  Surveillance fees will be charged at an hourly rate of fees plus out of pocket expenses. 

Court Appearances for Enforcement Hearing Summons (Form 71) fees will be charged as quoted or will be at a rate of fees as set by Southern Cross Collection, Auction Agencies for hours - traveling - accommodation or out of pocket expenses.  Where traveling is involved, fee will be charged if not cancelled 24 hours prior to hearing date. 

Debt Collections fee will be quoted only.  All Repossession Orders will be the same as Service of Documents plus traveling fees for kilometres traveled - accommodation and out of pocket expenses - towing and storage fees will be paid, by the Finance Companies and Banks and Agencies acting for the Finance Companies and Banks, to the Towing and Storage Companies direct.  Auction Sales will be on commission plus costs - traveling - accommodation and out of pocket expenses. 

All accounts payable to Southern Cross Collection, Auction Agencies will be paid in full within seven days of that account unless prior arrangements have been made.  Interest of 10% per year will be charged on all overdue accounts after seven days of the date of the said invoice.  All legal costs - debt collection costs will be borne by the person/s or the Company that has been named in the account.
